The owner has created a truly welcoming and unique experience for her guests. We instantaneously felt welcome, and the sense of community in the communal space made it easy to fraternize with guests from all sorts of interesting backgrounds. We loved our room and the trees/wildlife on our private balcony (iguanas and birds). We had a great time in San Pedro! This was the perfect pied-a-terre to go on our daily excursions.

Feathers is not a resort and not your typical Airbnb. It is instead a fantastic place to experience the real Belize. The grounds are very beautiful, fully shaded with tall trees, many different birds, chickens, and iguanas roaming over sand meticulously raked every day. There is no food allowed in the rooms and no refrigerator in the rooms. Instead, there is a shared kitchen/cafe with a refrigerator for the 6-10 guests to use and when desired, to share each other's company. It is walkable to beaches, restaurants, street food, and small markets. You might want to rent a golf cart or take cabs to get to San Pedro center some 2-3 miles away. Book this place Now! Incredible hospitality, beautiful grounds, and located not too far from town, beaches, and local markets. We had a great breeze on the rooftop suite, with no need to use the AC. The room also had a nice picnic table and hammock on our level that was great to use for breakfast in the mornings and happy hour, too! There was also a really neat kitchen area for all to use, stocked with beer and all of the kitchen supplies and spices you would need. Don't forget the chickens, dogs, birds lizards, and beautiful flowers on the property - always something to look at! We rented a golf cart and we cruised around in this every day, it got us to a secret beach, restaurants further down the island and a great free pool! I could rave about this home and island all day.
