It aims to be a practical guide on the steps required to prepare yourself and your business for sale and will be useful for anyone considering selling their business.
A key takeaway will be how you can avoid the regrets that 75% of owners have about their business sale. You’ll also learn how to build a business that can be sold with the best payment terms.
Paul’s background includes roles as Finance Director of a PLC, and various positions within the Corporate, Credit and Risk and Retail Banking sectors of HSBC.
Since 2005 Paul has advised owners on the sale of their businesses, managing deals of all sizes and across many sectors.
In 2014 he became the first Certified Value Builder in Europe as he saw the need to help his clients prepare their business and achieve better outcomes.
He is the Sales Director for Business Partnership – a UK business broker for over 40 years with a national network of Regional Partners. This national presence, across local markets, provides business owners with advice to help them achieve their goals.
They represent businesses in the SME market, with sales up to £10m.
Paul and his wife broadened their horizons by creating additional services through their other company Uscita Solutions Ltd. They have created two distinct services for those requiring a solution different to that of a full business broker service – all geared towards coaching and building in additional value to a business before exit.
