The business is situated in Babeni, Valcea county, Romania.
It is capable of producing 400 Tons of Pleurotus mushrooms every year (in the most intense production mode)
The farm itself was completed in 2020 with an initial investment cost of a little over 3 million euros.
It is composed of 12 Production Tunnels (~300 SQM each) and one main building for cold storage, packaging line, lockers, mess hall, technical rooms, and others (around 1000 SQM)
The farm itself sits on almost 3 Hectares (approx 7.5 Acres) of land and is connected to all the necessary utilities (Gas/Water/Electricity) - with its own transformer station connected to medium tension lines. Heating is provided by 2 central heating units - One works on gas and a backup that works on wood pellets. It also has a backup generator capable of sustaining the farm for 3 days in case of power outages.
Number of employees varies from 6 to 12 depending on the desired production intensity.
