The magnificent resort of 12,000 square meters is situated in the Southeast coast of Zanzibar. Two kilometre from the village of Makunduchi, right on the beach of the beautiful Indian Ocean.
The greatest sensitivity to environmental factors was realised during planning and building, which was finished in 2013.
Every effort was made to retain harmony with the environment and the local community –fishermen and workers of wheat seaweed-production- within our project.
The hotel complex stands almost alone and is designed to welcome guests – today a maximum of 23 people- who like, security, privacy, independence and quietness.
The resort has three luxurious bungalows of 64m2each with gallery and sea-view, two standard double-story bungalows of 26m2, a kitchen, a restaurant, a stone-bake pizza oven, a bar, a library, a reception, three huts and two toilets/showers for the staff and a gift-shop.
Furthermore, there is a swimming pool (terrazzo-11*7*2m), showers, changing rooms and toilets, outdoor games (mini-golf, chess, mill, “pétanque”, quoits).
In addition, it has a private beach of over 2000m2 with a tunnel entrance, a fitness room, an outdoor cinema, a toilet, four storage huts, four patios, a platform with two long-chairs on it and an exit to the public beach.
The own water-sources and electricity supply via solar energy ensure an independent control of the whole plot.
Further, a private house, with three bedrooms, a big kitchen, an office, a gallery with sea-view , a water reservoir (7*4*4m), two store-rooms and three store houses, an outdoor local kitchen, two patios, are on top of the ascending property which encloses a heterogenic garden.

The private house with three luxurious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms is situated on the top of the property and separated from the rental bungalows. It is built around an atrium with a central located deep well and has a spacious gallery with a fantastic sea view. In addition, there is a fully equipped kitchen (55sqm) with an underlying water reservoir (144000lt), an office and two storage rooms. Three stoves, two patio and a garage are also in personal property.
Situated straight on the Indian Ocean, the Resort has its own private beach (2000sqm) which is separated by an abundant vegetation with trees and local plants and supported by a concrete wall. This area may be reached by an underground tunnel, unique on the Island.
