The Lodge has been running since 2007 when the previous owner built and ran this most successful establishment. We, as present owners have made many substantial changes that have been noticed and reflected in the growth of the business.
This business has had a complete makeover in the last 3 years, with increases in occupancy and added the Restaurant which has proved a great success. The Restaurant caters for all tastes from carnivores to vegans; with a wide variety of dishes from around the world and Zambia, this is reflected in the turnover. The Lodge consists of 5 double or Twin bedded chalets,and a new Family chalet that sleeps 6 all with private facilities, air conditioning, fans, fridges and TV. We have a swimming pool outside with separate toilet block. The whole area is surrounded with fruit trees - mango, paw paw, Guava, mulberry, pineapple, water berry, lemons and orange - with grounds laid to lawns and ornamental beds. Parking for about 8 cars, with security fence and night guard. Owners /Managers accommodation with a 4 bedroom house on site.
The Lodge is situated just 6 minutes from the International airport, 12 minutes drive from the famous "Victoria Falls " - one of the seven natural wonders of the world - and just 3 minutes drive ( 15 minutes walk ) from the town center.
The whole area is a safe place to work and live, with lots to see and do all the year round.

A 4 bedroom house for owner/ manager is also on site. The Restaurant and Bar are an extension on the end of the house, but can be separated.
The Lodge is a few minutes drive from the airport, 15 minutes walk to town and 15minutes drive to Zimbabwe border and Victoria Falls.
The plots is just under 1 acre in size with main road frontage, lights and electric fence. On the plot are 5 Double or Twin chalets and a new Family Chalet -sleeps 6 - all with private facilities. All the chalets have there own hot water supply plus cold water ( council water + 5000 ltr tank). Electricity to all parts of the premises. The swimming pool is about 15 mtrs. x 3 mtrs. and runs from 1/2 mtr to1.6 mtrs.deep end. An abundance of fruiting trees throughout the year which are used in the restaurant and kitchen. The grounds have been landscaped to enhance the overall beauty of the Lodge.
We have recently opened our Family chalet that will sleep 6. Having so many families visit this area we identified the need. This has been well booked since opening.
Many small Lodges and B & B's in the immediate area, but NOT to the standard of Green Tree as we demanded that this Lodge must have good ratings. This is reflected in Trip Advisor as we have taken this lodge to nearly the top. Our Restaurant stands alone with what we offer, not even the big Hotels can offer this menu.
After over 53 years in this business, I feel it's time to retire and let someone younger make their mark on Green Tree. There is scope to enlarge or expand. Sensible offers will be looked at.
