INTRODUCTION

CCS Organisation Ltd specializes in providing a variety of
Health and Safety advice, training, audits and inspections.
This includes providing the role of Principle Designer as set
out in the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations
2015.

History and Ownership

The Company commenced trading in May 2012, quickly
establishing itself within its sector and building up lasting
relationships with clients and suppliers. Our client had
previous experience in this sector dating back to 2001.

Products and Services

CCS have increasing sales of all health and safety services.
Clients

The Company has six parts to it –

• Health and Safety consultancy & advice

• The role of Principle Designer

• Advice on the management of asbestos in buildings

• Health and Safety training

• Health and Safety audits

• Health and Safety construction inspection visits

The consistently high standard of service provided by
the Company has enabled it to build and maintain strong,
long-standing relationships with its commercial and private
clients, some of which span over sixteen years. This proven
track record continues to generate additional custom.
The client base is varied, with 75% providing repeat business.
Over 25% of clients are contracted. Currently has a contract with a Borough council securing steady revenue
CCS presents a unique opportunity for a new owner,
with two new corporate clients having recently been
secured.
There is significant scope to utilize further marketing
strategies and attract additional clients, encouraging
company growth.
There is also significant scope to introduce Fire Risk
Assessments.. Growth into this area has been restricted only
by a lack of time until now.

LOCATION

CCS currently operates from privately owned premises
based in Gloucester, Gloucestershire

REASON FOR SALE

Having built up the business over the course of many
years, our client is now offering the Company for sale as part
of their retirement plans.

STAFF

The Company is managed on a full time basis by the
current Managing Director supported by another Director.
There are no additional staff in permanent employment
with additional work subcontracted as required.
A new owner will need to provide full time
management for CCS. Replacements will require the same
skill sets in health and safety management as the current
managing director.
Our clients are willing to provide a three month
handover period to assist the buyer. This is offered at no
additional charge

Growth Opportunities

The Company has an enviable trading record with most clients approaching the business directly due to recommendations and
reputation – there has been little marketing required to reach this stage.
The development of a strong marketing team and marketing strategy could be extremely beneficial. Our client advises us that
advertisements in home build magazines are useful.
The market share for Health & Safety and the Role of Principal Designer is enormous, CCS’s current share of this area of the
market is low because of a non commitment to expand – this has been a decision forced by Colin Sheppard’s age, but there is a lot
of potential is obtaining a larger share of the market place.
The Company has a basic website in place, this could be largely improved to show more information, request or book
consultations, client testimonies and much more.
There is much scope to diversify services with the introduction of Fire Risk Assessments and Asbestos Surveys – this would
require additional staff to manage a larger workload.
