‘Kind and understanding’ care worker wins Caremark’s national monthly award

04 May 2015

A care worker with a Sussex home care provider was awarded the franchisor’s national monthly award.

The recent winner Cally Wilcock has been with the Caremark franchisee (Mid-Sussex & Crawley) since 2011 providing professional care and support for people with mental health conditions as well as delivering care for people in their own homes.

“Cally has shown herself to be reliable, professional and a conscientious care worker and all her customers adore her” said Registered Care Manager and Director Sarah-Louise Hatchard.

Although Cally generally works alone within the Mental Health field, her flexibility and willingness to assist her colleagues providing home care has meant that other clients have benefited from her kind and compassionate care as well.

“My support worker has been brilliant“ commented a client with mental health needs.

“I can’t thank Cally enough for her kindness, patience and understanding. She has helped me to help myself and given me an opportunity to embrace my recovery and have a life instead of an existence" she concluded.

The Sussex based home care business provide bespoke care and support services to people of all ages, abilities and ethnicities in their own homes, enabling them to continue living safe and independent lives.

Ms Hatchard concluded: “We would like to say a massive well done and thank Cally for all her hard work with us and look forward to working with her for many years to come!”
