The 9,000 square foot, recently renovated Lodge was re-built after a fire in 1949. It is part of the well known Cariboo Gold Rush Trail: Situated at the mouth of the Quesnel river in downtown Likely.
The Lodge consists of 10 Hotel Rooms; a licensed Pub with seating capacity of 120 plus licensed Sundeck with capacity of 20. The 60 seat restaurant also sports an outdoor summer patio.
The pub and restaurant has plenty of space to accommodate the physical distancing mandates during the current covid 19 restrictions.
The Lodge has a large commercial kitchen installed six years ago. Additional upgrades over the past five years include a new heating system, wood boiler; new well, roof and siding. The hotel guest rooms were re-floored and the walls painted in the past year. 75% of the bathrooms have been recently upgraded with new fixtures installed. All furnishings, equipment, stock and supplies are included in the purchase price.
In addition to the Lodge the property has a second building consisting of a 950 square foot manager/owner's suite and a 800 square foot 3 bedroom staff apartment. Both recently renovated.

Quesnel Lake is the deepest fjord lake in North America and the third largest. It has great fishing and beautiful Water Falls. You can go boating all day and only meet one or two others out on the lake. There is Yanks peak, Browntop and miles of old unused forestry roads just waiting to be explored. This is an interior rain forest with lush green vegetation. You can go miles and miles and meet no other person.
The possibilities are endless for expansion if you love nature and have the energy, finances, and personnel.
High Country Inn;12 Room Motel- located a few blocks away and serves breakfast only. Currently no other pub or all day restaurant in Likely.
Current owners are in mid sixties and looking to retire.
Last year the hours of operation were 10 am to 10pm. This year we have expanded the hours; Restaurant 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. Pub 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. Lodge is open year round.
We are planning on retiring in Likely and could stay on staff for up to 6 months to support and train if required. After that time we could be available on a consulting basis if needed.
