We are located in the village of Taull which is only 6 km from the ski resort Boi-Taull Resort.
The national park Aiguestortes which attracts visitors all year round with over 200 lakes is just a few kilometres away.

The hostel was finished in 2011 built and designed by the present owner. The hostel has 7 rooms and a capacity of 26 persons, each room. The hostel was designed with a Scandinavian style interior with wooden walls and ceilings. The floors are polished cement, each room having it’s own color. Each room has a spacious full bathroom with sleek under-the-sink cabinets, slatted walls and polished towel hangers. The hostel is equipped with under-floor heating and powered by the latest technology in renewable energy using aertermica which warms the house and hostel with a very pleasant temperature and keeps the electricity bill very low.

There is an attached apartment which directly connects to the reception makes it very convenient and easy access. The apartment is about 85m2 with two bedrooms, two bathrooms with an open kitchen. It has a large living area with a wood burning fireplace and stove for cooking.

The entrance to the hostel has a 240m2 of a driveway along with a flowers, raspberries, strawberries, mint etc. It also has a large storage area outside to store firewood, which we also sell.

There is an attached apartment to the hostel connecting to the reception which makes it very convenient. The house is about 85m2 with two bedrooms one having in en-suite bathroom with a very large shower. It is an open kitchen with the lounge area. It has a wood burning fireplace and a stove above the fireplace for baking.


The highest ski resort in the Pyrenees is Boí Taüll and is located only 6km from the hostel. The ski resort brings not only visitors from Catalonia, but from all over Spain.
The biggest tourist driver is the national park of Aiguestortes which is right next to the village of Taull.

We are 3hrs from barcelona, 2hrs from Toulouse, 3.5hrs from San Sebastien.

The Hostel is located right off the road to the ski resort so it has easy access and parking

Competition / Market:

In the entire valley which consists of 5 villages there are in total 3 hostels. There are only 2 hostels in the village of Taull and a few other small bed n breakfast. One of the nice advantages is there is not much competition so during the busy season and most weekends all of the accommodation establishments are fully booked.

Reasons for selling:

At the moment we also own and operate another Hostel and two restaurants in the area and we are looking to downsize as we have a 1yr old boy and a 3yr old girl. We also have another home in Portugal where we would like to spend more time.

Trading hours:

The Hostel is open all year round. The slower months are April, May, June and November.

The hostel can be run by only one person and during the high season we usually work with one extra volunteer.

Support & training:

I am willing to give all the training support necessary for the buyer to fill they are ready to take over. It would include our web page, and all other social media that we are located in Trip Advisor, Lonely Planet and Fommers.
I could train until for at least one month.
