Šumadija is the most powerful wine region in Serbia, with historical and traditional background. The winery is located between Topola and Arandjelovac cities, equipped with complete infrastructure and excellent road connections, even for local wine distribution or exporting wines from Serbia. Vineyards are settled on the plain, elevated and slightly inclined to the East, and exposed to sunshine in early morning hours. Terroir is clay, which gives excellent results in wine body, texture and color.
The Winery is in work, registered as “small business” (i.e. entrepreneurial business) and is not in VAT system. Vineyards are registered as agricultural households and are not in VAT system as well. In offer are about 8 ha of equipped vineyards of different varieties, namely: A. about 3,3 ha of merlot (0,7 ha planted in 2013; 1,3 ha planted in 2020; and 1,3 ha planted in 2021). B. about 2 ha with Pinot Gris planted in 2020. C. about 1,3 ha with Yellow Tamjanika (our autochthone variety of white fragrant grapes, very popular and wanted in Europe). D. about 0,5 ha with Cabernet Franc. E. about 0,5 ha with Prokupac (our autochthone variety of black grapes, very popular in Serbia and south-east Europe). B., C., D. and E. vineyards were planted in 2020. Near the winery are about 0,45 ha of different fruit plantations, mostly plum trees (possible rakija, i.e., plum brandy production).
The Winery is in HASSP system, equipped with all necessary equipment for wine production, bottle filling, manual label sticking, etc. On the stock are about 14,000 liters of wine, mostly in bottles and in sale. About 2.700 liters of merlot and cabernet franc ’22 are still in tanks but are ready for bottling and sale. In 13 oak barrels is merlot vintage 2022, which could be bottled as well. Each wine has a label and a transportation cardboard box.
On offer are complete vineyard mechanizations for solid treatment and chemical protection of the plants. The agronomist (PhD from the university), technologist, and well-trained crew of manual workers will stay with the new owner if wanted.
The ground-floor house is designed for living (133 sq m) and wine production (80 sq m), with a small tasting room (16 sq m) in the basement. Could be redesigned. The living part has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living and dining room, and a and a kitchen. It is fully furnished.
We work hard to make qualitative wines, and making top-quality wine is our main goal. Our merlot barrique vintage 2016 has been evaluated by Marc Squires, “Robert Parker Wine Advocate,” in October 2019 with 90 points. Strictly take care about food and wine pairing for gestation education.
This is a great opportunity for the new owner to offer the world market new, unexplored, but qualitative wines from this wine region or to enter the Serbian wine market with some new ideas. A business has no debts or credits. If the new owner wants to stay on the Serbian market, a new tasting room/restaurant should be designed. If the goal is wine export, buying some more machinery should be considered.
