We own a small 15 acre plot of land in Jayaque, El Salvador with our goal in mind to help develop the economy in that region.
Over the past 5 years we've been successfully moving the farm forward in all aspects. From improvements on the farm's infrastructure to increased production and flavor profiles. We've constantly been getting better each year and have truly lived out our motto.
At the beginning of 2018 we came out with almost 6,000 lbs of exportable green coffee. Which is a huge improvement and something that is constantly going to increase and get better as our 40,000 new trees keep producing and increasing production. We predict the numbers to increase upwards of $40-50,000/year depending on harvest yields.
Located just 30-40 mins outside of Santa Tecla, the farm sits at 3,600 ft (ranging to 4,100 ft), just outside of the small town of Jayaque, a small mountain town. This ideal location makes the farm easily accessible for quick day trips on almost all paved roads, where other farms you can spend hours on unpaved roads.
Closely located to Santa Tecla gives you a great place to stay with American lifestyles all around. Also El Sunzal, one of the best surfing beaches in the world, is located on the other side of the mountain from our farm, about a 45 min drive. Making our farm, in my opinion, a perfect location!
The farm is listed for $225,000 which includes all our current operations (land, two houses, equipment, workers), website, social media, and FLF branding. Price is negotiable and we are accepting all offers.

Real Property Included
There are two homes on the property. When we first got there they had no running water and conditions weren't the best. We have since improved the living conditions and have plans to add solar to the houses and would want to continue that vision with the new owners. We also have architecture plans for adding a hotel on site we would include in the purchase of the farm.

Almost all the roads to the farm are paved making this a scenic and easy drive. Once there soak up the forest on the property with thousands of coffee trees growing underneath the canopy. The entire property slopes upward on a mountain side with gorgeous views at the top and a stream wrapping around half of the properties border.
On top of the coffee farm aspect there are also a lot of other untapped potentials we haven't added yet. Such as international coffee tourism, which has become huge and has potential to bring in additional revenue. Also consolidating coffees from other farmers and selling those into the U.S., Europe and Asia markets is another great way to generate more revenue besides only what the farm is producing. We always have had a vision and goal of even purchasing a farm next door, and building an eco-lodge for tourism. Lots of opportunity beyond just farming.
We are among the very few farmers in El Salvador that 1) produce high quality coffee, 2) process everything in house and 3) export out of the country.
Almost 90% of farmers have never reached these milestones, making our farm stand out above the rest and making way for more business that is untapped.
So why are we selling our farm? It's been worth it, so worth it, and yes we are now hitting our profitability margins we've been working towards for 6 years. So why now you ask? Well the short version is our investors are ready to retire. They have been through the ups and downs of our farm and even though they love what we are doing, they are ready to pass on this legacy to someone with a long term dedication.

I know what you're thinking, yes, there is a lot to learn. Especially if you never have been in coffee before and/or ever owned an international company before. That is where I step in. I am willing to look at all aspects of this moving forward. If you, the new owner, wants to have me only consult and help as needed we can define the roles and compensation at the time of sell.
Or if the role needs to be more in depth. Occasional trips to the farm, running day to day operations, helping export/import, sell coffee etc, we can look at defining that role with my continued involvement to help the farm succeed.
