Single unit franchisees must be active
owner/operators. Retail experience is helpful, but not essential,
because Animal Supply House has a comprehensive training and
support program. You can rely on our support team to help setup
merchandising and inventory schedules. Put our experience to work
for you. We want to work closely with you to ensure the success of
all of our stores.
Potential franchisees must demonstrate that they
have sufficient capital to operate and develop their stores. While
Animal Supply House does not offer financing, we are confident that
sources for financing are available for qualified applicants. It is
estimated that you will need in excess of $35,000 in liquid capital
in order to receive financing for the remainder of the total
investment.
Outlook
There was no intention to franchise the original Animal Supply
House. With the growth of the original store, interest pursued.
Prospective retailers loved the concept and showed strong interest
in franchising. With much insistence, we decided to allow select
qualified retailers to join the Animal Supply House
family.

Facilities
Animal Supply House seeks to locate stores in highly visible, busy
locations. We try limiting the size of our stores to 5,000 to
10,000 square feet. This is to ensure that operating costs and
inventory are kept at optimum levels of profitability. With this
size you can offer a competitive selection of products. Thanks to
our state-of-the-art distribution system, our franchises receive
regular shipments to keep the shelves full and back stock at a
minimum.
Support/Training
Animal Supply offers exclusive product lines, closed distribution,

comprehensive training to all locations. We provide hands-on
management training on location and at our headquarters. Animal
Supply House boasts an established franchise service system to
follow up and maintain a consistent level of service in all of
their stores.
