This metal fabrication business was established 25 years ago by the current owner who is ready to retire. The company is a full service fabricator with OEM Mfg, laser cutting, sheet metal fab, trailer design & mfg, precision machining, machine design & build. The company is on a fiscal year ending June 30th. For 2009 sales were $7.5 Million with $700,000 in discretionary cash flow. Sales and cash flow in the previous two years were similar. However, sales have dropped significantly due to the loss of a major customer and the business has started to lose some money. The owner does not want to risk his own capital going forward given his age and wants to sell the business quickly. He prefers an all cash sale, but will consider terms on a buyer for buyer basis. There is very little debt in the company. There is no formal asking price and the seller is receptive to reasonable offers. A stock sale is preferred since this is a C corp, but an asset sale will also be considered. This is an ideal business for someone or a company who has some business they can bring with them.The building is owned by the seller and he is negotiable on a rent rate.
