Businesses Large And Small Are Sought By Agent
Established in 1951, Adams and Co. has built an enviable reputation as one of the UK’s premier business transfer agents, and its continued success is based upon the package of services offered to all its customers.
This package includes competitive rates with no up-front fees and a range of financial services supported by a professional and confidential service.
Adams and Co. is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and aims to provide an unrivalled service of quality and value, and wherever possible, exceed the expectation of clients.
The company has 15 computer linked regional offices, each run by a team of experienced professionals.
The office covering Kent is able to offer extensive local media marketing alongside constant advertising in the national press together with worldwide coverage on www.adamsandco.co.uk while also advertising businesses for sale on www.DaltonsBusiness.com and www.BusinessesForSale.com
Because of the high level of sales, Adams and Co. is seeking quality businesses – both large and small – to satisfy the demand created by its registered buyers.
If you are considering selling now or in the future, Adams and Co. would welcome the opportunity of assessing, marketing and selling your business.
Hotels and Guest Houses
Hotels and guest houses are in great demand in the Kent area and registered buyers are actively seeking realistically-priced properties through Adams and Co.
The Kent office has many purchasers looking to buy hotels of all sizes from as little as five letting rooms up to larger properties with 50 or more bedrooms.
Geoff Kelleher, from the Kent branch of Adams and Co. said: “With the uncertainty that there has been over the last few months in the residential market, many buyers are now looking for a more reliable return on their investment.
“They have come to realise that many hotels and guest houses will not only provide a home and show an excellent return, but also offer an exciting opportunity to provide a substantial income.”
His office was short of instructions and Adams and Co. is keen to market any hotels or guest houses in the area on a no sale – no fee basis. Mr Kellerher added that his office would be happy to take instruction from business owners currently on the market with other agents.
The recent Adams and Co. Business Buyers Show proved busier than ever, despite what many pundits have been describing as a generally slow property market.
The newly introduced Question Time-style seminars proved a hit with prospective new business buyers, with visitors attending from all over the south east and beyond.
Hosted by Dean Edwards, Managing Director of Adams and Co.’s head office in Yorkshire, the seminars ran into overtime, with many questions being answered from those collected at the show and from the visitors on the floor.
Experts on the panel included Mike Gibson from the specialist business finance brokers ASC, as well as representatives from the Royal Bank of Scotland, tax and financial advice from Dominic Hill Accountants, and commercial property and business legal advice from Mayo and Perkins and temple Bird solicitors.
Martin Hornsby Business Services explained the ins and outs of stock valuations.
In addition to the seminars, the show offered potential business buyers the opportunity to find out everything they needed to know about buying a business all under one roof in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
The show featured stands from five of the Adams and Co. southern offices with a wide variety of hundreds of businesses currently being offered for sale, as well as complementary stands from specialist business finance brokers and banks, specialist business valuers, legal advisers and stocktakers among others.
