THE BUSINESS
Our client has run the business for circa 4 years and due to the unexpected arrival of a family has decided to return to the local family farming business. It is necessary for an interested purchaser to look past the accounting information and full disclosure will be provided by our client as and when required. However, pub accounts for y/e 31-03-08 prove sales within the pub business only of £269,339 inc vat + machine income, with a Reconstructed Net profit (after adding back one off and personal expenses) of £34,000. Accounts for 08-09 are in the process of being completed however we can confirm that 09-10 April to June show sales of £60,201 inc vat which projects to £240,843 for the full year with an expected Net Adjusted Profit of around £34,000. There are further income streams available above those quoted from the Caravan & Camping lettings and the provision of bar facilities at the local village hall. An energetic new owner could reasonably expect to double the disposable profits achieved from the pub business as a stand alone operation.
An interesting diverse highly profitable cash business which will receive a high degree of interest – a must to view early |
