- Business description
- In July of 2007, I developed the idea of a business networking site that allowed UK professionals to register themselves and their business interests to other users and general internet users. The plan was to develop the site to incorporate business contacts, blogs, message database, and lead generation. The site took 6 months to build and crash test and then we advertised it in the Guardian and Telegraph. Registration is free, but companies that upgrade have to pay to advertise. Since inception, we have sold banner adverts to some key companies and now have a couple of pay per click customers. The site now has members joining and is growing slowly but surely. The business needs to be taken forward and someone needs to dedicate some time and effort to market this site and manage the responses. Personally, I run 5 other businesses and do not have the time to concentrate on this project. The sale is for the whole site, domain name, contacts, income and adverts as they are. This is not a franchise or opportunity to copy the site. Its all in. You get the lot, including members at date of sale. You can do with it as you wish.
- General information
- Years established:1
- Employees: 0
- Home based: This business can be run from home.
- Relocatable: This business can be relocated.
- Location:Based from Home
- Expansion potential:HUGE !!!!!!!
- Competition / Market:This is a competitive market, but apart from the big USA Players, no one has developed something as technically perfect and working as this site. You do not need to be an IT wizard as Im not. You just need to know how to manipulate a business, market it and run it.
- Support & training:I will offer full support in the hand over and the IT guy that built it will be on hand to help. He is an IT Web designer and I have spent over £10,000 developing this site.
- Reasons for selling:Time is limited for me. It needs someone to develop and market it.
