Business description
This company was established in 1990 and was incorporated in 1995. It has traded successfully year on year and has grown consistently and steadily in line with the increasing demand for its services.
It specialises in supplying freight forwarding services to and from Italy.

Employees: The Managing Director and his wife are very active in the business. In addition to which they have two operations managers, six drivers and two warehouse men

Location
The business is based in Yorkshire and is established on a small industrial estate within easy reach of the motorway network.

Expansion potential
There is a good opportunity to grow this business from a position of strength. The European markets are developing rapidly and the existing level of experience in handling this market sector provides a strong platform for future growth. The present catchment area is Leeds Bradford and Lancashire. Clearly there is a huge additional market outside these perameters that have not been approached. Uniquely the existing Managing Director would be happy to remain in the business in a key development role that would be invaluable for a new owner.

Competition / Market
There is some local competition but it appears unable to offer the same level of customer and load care that is provided by this company.

Support & training
The MD is prepared to remain with the company if required. A handover period for a suitable length of time would be available as part of the negotiation process.

Reasons for selling
The managing director has additional commercial interests.
