Franchisee testimonial from Alex Markov (London)

"Nationwide Cleaners is probably the best franchise if you want to start a business in cleaning.

Peter Munro, the founder of Nationwide Cleaners, is very experienced and knows and understands all the difficulties that a franchisee can have. He is an honest man, being supportive and very knowledgeable at the same time.

When you start working, you will never regret it later because he will never let you down and he is always ready to help you with a piece of advice, an email, a phone call or even a visit.

He is always ready to listen and understand your point of view and constantly thinks about improving the system.

If you want to find somebody to guide and teach you how to start a business, to learn and organise every aspect of it, to get a sound, regular income even during a recession, you will not find a better franchise than Nationwide Cleaners."

Franchisee testimonial from Tony Wightman (Essex)

“My name is Tony Wightman. I am in my mid forties, I have been, and still am working at present in the rail construction industry.

I had been looking to move into business for myself for the last 8 years or so, nearly; on so many occasions did I take the plunge. I had looked at other, different franchises in the past, but always seemed to go back to cleaning. Eventually I made a call to a couple of advertisers, but was left unimpressed after the calls. I rang Peter Munro at Nationwide Cleaners, and I was left feeling he cared about the business and, that really swung it for me.

I have been impressed with the level of knowledge, and the training that has been given to me since I signed my franchise agreement. The ongoing support I have received has been invaluable, as I try to build my business. From the start I wasn’t told any great stories that “this will make you millions” instead; I got the story about how much hard work lies ahead, and it will not be a sprint but a marathon.

My aspirations are to grow a business from the ground with hard work, but due to the franchise, without all the pitfalls of starting from scratch by myself. I would like to make a good honest living from the business, to eventually enable me to leave my current job, and provide for me and my family in a comfortable manner. "

Home-based. Numerous areas are available.

Expansion potential
Based on having 100 regular clients with 2.2 hours a week each at £2.95/hour, your turnover would be £649/week, £2,812/month or £33,748/year. For 200 clients, it would be £1,298/week, £5,624/month or £67,496/year Your net profit, after all expenses, should be at least 60%, so: 100 clients would produce around £20,000 profit a year. 200 clients would produce around £40,000 profit a year. 300 clients would produce around £60,000 profit a year. Some franchisees operating very similar cleaning agencies have reached 800 clients (after some years), so there are opportunities to build quite a sizeable business if you want to. Alternatively, you may wish to keep it smaller, but this is your individual choice.

Competition / Market
The standard of competition is generally low. Many of your competitors are not very competent which is a distinct advantage for you! If you were in a fashionable industry, such as investment banking, the amount and quality of competition would be markedly higher. It offers job security because you will have a large number of clients when established, in that you are not dangerously exposed to a handful of big clients cancelling or to one employer making you redundant! Also, you do not need any sales skills, as clients ring you when they are already interested. With our system, training, guidance and support you will have a distinct advantage over rival firms.

Support & training
Full training in operating your own profitable cleaning management business. Cross training in running a leafleting firm and free advertising on several leafleting websites. A marketing campaign for your opening, including targeted mailshots and 10,000 leaflets. An excellent management manual. Continuing support and guidance. Software templates. A stationery pack. A legally checked client information pack (by solicitors.) Payment forms. Invoices. Legally checked cleaner interview and vetting forms (by immigration and the police.) Access to a discounted insurance policy that would be problematic to obtain by yourself and is superior to those of most other cleaning agencies. Accountancy and business formation advice. A competitor pricing analysis. A business progress analysis. Bank letters and client letters. Marketing letters and leaflets proven to attract client enquiries. A franchisee chatroom.

Reasons for selling
New franchise territories are available. The figures for turnover and profit listed above reflect what an established franchise could reasonably expect to attain when our system is adhered to. Please look at our site www.nationwidecleaners.co.uk for more information and listen to the audio presentation. An information pack is available. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
