| As a franchisee of The
Alternative Board® (TAB), you will chair monthly peer advisory
board meetings of owners, CEOs and presidents of privately owned
companies. These peer advisory boards typically consist of 10
members from non-competing businesses. Meeting monthly, TAB Board
members operate in a confidential, “think tank”
atmosphere where they can present challenges and opportunities for
seasoned, practical advice from other members and their
facilitator. In addition to facilitating TAB Board meetings, you will also provide individual coaching sessions utilizing the easy-to-use Strategic Business Leadership® (SBL) process. As an SBL-Certified Coach, you will help owners define their personal and business visions, as well as the goals, strategies and action plans to achieve those visions. Our marketing team will help keep you on track during your launch! A member of the TAB Corporate marketing team will be assigned to work one–on–one with you to strategize, plan and manage the details of your marketing campaigns, so you won’t have to remember every little detail. |
At launch, you will utilize a combination of TAB’s proven direct marketing and public relations processes, which implement proprietary strategies to generate local interest and invite TAB Board member prospects to informational meetings in your protected territory.
| Initial Training
Program During this program, you will receive training on the functional areas of running your TAB business, from obtaining new members to facilitating board meetings to providing private business coaching. The sessions are delivered by several TAB Corporate employees and peer facilitators using a variety of tools, including presentations, role-playing, videos and more. | ![]() |
