The Alternative Board® is the world’s largest franchisor of peer advisory and coaching solutions, offering on-going training and field support and aggressive growth opportunities.

As a franchisee of The Alternative Board® (TAB), you will chair monthly peer advisory board meetings of owners, CEOs and presidents of privately owned companies. These peer advisory boards typically consist of 10 members from non-competing businesses. Meeting monthly, TAB Board members operate in a confidential, “think tank” atmosphere where they can present challenges and opportunities for seasoned, practical advice from other members and their facilitator.

In addition to facilitating TAB Board meetings, you will also provide individual coaching sessions utilizing the easy-to-use Strategic Business Leadership® (SBL) process. As an SBL-Certified Coach, you will help owners define their personal and business visions, as well as the goals, strategies and action plans to achieve those visions. With SBL, you assist business owners in strategically leading their businesses to greater profitability and success.

More than 200 TAB-Certified Facilitators/Coaches now conduct monthly board meetings across the United States, Canada and South America. Since its inception, thousands of businesses have benefited from the TAB process.

  1. The 7 Secrets begin with The Secret of Personal Vision. This Secret guides you in creating a written statement of your long-range dreams. You will be guided on an exploration of the 13 factors that are the basis of the Personal Vision Statement. Marketing Support
With one of the largest marketing departments among business services franchisors, The Alternative Board® is dedicated to helping you successfully market your business. Our marketing team will help keep you on track during your launch! A member of the TAB Corporate marketing team will be assigned to work one–on–one with you to strategize, plan and manage the details of your marketing campaigns, so you won’t have to remember every little detail.

At launch, you will utilize a combination of TAB’s proven direct marketing and public relations processes, which implement proprietary strategies to generate local interest and invite TAB Board member prospects to informational meetings in your protected territory.

Initial Training Program
During this program, you will receive training on the functional areas of running your TAB business, from obtaining new members to facilitating board meetings to providing private business coaching. The sessions are delivered by several TAB Corporate employees and peer facilitators using a variety of tools, including presentations, role-playing, videos and more.
