Trophy Pet Foods was established
in 1990, the first mobile pet food franchise. Since its conception,
the company has been the market leader in its field and now has a
large team of franchisees. A nationwide company with the knowledge,

range is sold to the pet owning householder, the pet trade and
other outlets within a defined area. This area will contain over
100,000 households with around 60,000 pets, so the market potential

What We Provide
Customer service is a priority with nutritional
advice, free home delivery, one stop shopping, skin and coat
management, a comprehensive food range, pet care accessories and
small mammal foods, all being available to the Trophy franchise to
promote to their customers. Plus microchipping and healthcare,
treats and accessories to ensure good add on sales.
Trophy works closely with each franchise to
establish a large customer base within the first few months. The
best-formulated pet foods are of no use whatsoever unless they are
eaten by the pet. Trophy have ensured that their products are
palatable and tasty and that they appeal to the fussiest of eaters.
With a “try before you buy” policy experienced
franchisees can expect a 50-60% take up rate and great customer

Marketing
A good image is vital to any new and existing
business. Trophy's corporate image is second to none and each
franchisee has their van fully sign written, making sure that

Franchise
Fee
The franchise fee is £13,995 plus Vat and
includes all of the above; there are no hidden extras. The
franchisee will also need to fund a medium size van and working
capital.
Training and
Support
Training Programme
Trophy franchisees undergo a targeted training
programme. The course includes operations, product knowledge,
nutritional training, sales and marketing, canvassing, pricing
structures, planning and problem solving, growth and development.
This is carried out over the first few months in the franchisees
own territory, following an intensive Head Office based
programme.
After 14 years of operation, the Trophy Head
Office Team have developed an excellent Launch Programme followed
by some the best support around. This product knowledge,
nutritional advice and sales technique is exactly what is needed to
develop a large customer base. Everything is tailored towards this
goal, allowing the franchisee to become profitable as soon as
possible.
Support
The franchisees have full access to their own
Trophy Franchise Support Manager (FSM), who carry out all support,
development and growth plans. The FSM is responsible for the
infield launch programme and will guide the new franchisee through
their first year with Trophy.
Ongoing support is crucial and Trophy franchisees
benefit from excellent communications, product development, free
promotional literature, local & National advertising, help with
growing the customer base, seminars, a franchisee discussion and
input forum, motivational support and, of course, the
FSM's.
Plus seasonal newsletters for all your customers,
brand building programmes, your own franchisee mentor, the Trophy
web site with your own pages for an individual message to your
customers and a referral scheme.
