Training – The Key
To Your Success
ServiceMaster believes that training is the key to
the performance of management supervisory and technical personnel
and provides thorough initial training followed by regular
re-training sessions designed to upgrade technical and human
skills.
Your training starts with a home pre-study
course, followed by two weeks residential training in Leicester,
followed by a supported business launch. Ongoing training for
franchisees, managers and supervisors is provided both here at
Leicester and more locally at your business. Ongoing support
comprises of regular visits to your business, regular regional
meetings, national conferences, and our dedicated operations
support managers are there to help you whenever you need
it.
Your
Profile
A management or senior management background and
ideally, but not crucially, you will have had sales experience, a
background in cleaning is not essential.
You need to be well organised and highly
motivated & committed to building a business that is likely to
exceed £1,000,000 turnover. You will have, preferably, had
staff recruitment, payroll and accounting experience. Although all
of this is taught at the training courses, experience would be
positively considered when offering the franchise. Drive, ambition
and a desire to succeed will ensure that your business realises its
full potential.
Investing In Your
Future
There are two elements of investment for your new
business:
The Franchise
License, which includes a comprehensive training
programme that involves pre-study, two weeks on-site training and
business launch assistance. A protected territory will be yours to
grow a substantial business

The Equipment
Package, which includes all equipment and
materials, needed to operate the service from cleaning machines and
products to stationery and bespoke software, in fact everything
that a new owner will require.
£11,250
ServiceMASTER’s fifty
year pedigree and its reputation with the major UK banks means that
subject to your circumstances only 30% of the above total required
needs to be found by you, the balance can normally be financed.
Working capital and VAT will also be catered for in any future
financial illustrations.
