The concept of F Factor Fitness is that of a
boutique health and fitness centre that provides a fun, friendly,
motivating, supportive and caring environment where everyone is
treated like a ‘superstar’ in their own

proven business system that has experienced consistent results
since initiation in 2004. With an extensive network of contacts and
support within the health and fitness industry, F Factor Fitness
continues to perform well beyond expectations.
An award winning
team
A firm believer in education to reinforce
business and professional excellence, Franchisor director Kylie
Courtie has successfully completed numerous training and
certificate courses along the way in the quest to constantly
achieve the ultimate results.
After years of training in many gyms across the
country, Kylie and her husband Paul saw that what was universally
missing from most was that elusive customer focus and personal care
approach. It is here that the dynamic husband and wife duo decided
to take matters into their own hands and start their own health and
fitness chain. Today, F Factor Fitness is best summed up by its
often coined slogan, ‘The fun and friendly fitness
professionals committed to excellence in service!’
In 2004 Kylie purchased Stay N Shape Fitness
Centre Ormeau (QLD) with a silent business partner. In 2005 the
centre was nominated by the Australian Institute of Fitness and was
a Finalist as “Personal Training Studio of the Year”.
By the onset of 2006, Kylie purchased all rights to Stay N Shape
Fitness and renamed and re-branded the business to F Factor Fitness
with Ormeau, QLD as the first of 100 centres planned across
Australia. The rename and rebranding was significant as it tells
the story of what F Factor is all about. The 3 sides of the
triangle logo represent Fun, Friendly Fitness and the F Factor
stands for the “Fluff Factor” which is all the warm
fuzzy extra special personalized treatment that sets F Factor apart
from other bigger centres. F Factor Fitness Ormeau has since
continued with phenomenal success including Winner of
“Personal Training Studio of the Year” awarded by the
Australian Institute of Fitness 2006 and Finalists in the Quest
Business Achievers Awards 2006.
The franchise factor
As a general rule, all F Factor Fitness centres
provide Gym Membership, Personal Training, Group Fitness Classes,
Nutritional Advice, F Factor Fitness Merchandise, and Health Food
supplements. In addition to this, select centres also provide SunFX
Pro Spray Tan, Body Composition Analysis, Physiotherapy/Massage and
Crèche services.
F Factor Fitness is a very modern business
system. With carefully designed franchise systems in place, the
business model will not only ride the wave of popularity, but
continue to evolve in meeting new trends and ensure longevity of
the franchise network..
While specific business skills are not necessary
to operate a franchised business, a level of business experience
and acumen is desirable.

Included in the Franchise Fee is a comprehensive
initial eight week training program at an F Factor Fitness centre
nominated by the Franchisor. This will be followed by further
ongoing support and training leading in to and including the first
three months in the Franchisee’s premises after commencement
of the franchise business. In house training consists of product
knowledge, operating systems, business operations and marketing of
services.
This Business Training & Coaching Program is
designed accordingly to give the incoming Franchisee the best
possible start to business success.
