franchise opportunity.
GPS-Direct now supports a
growing number of associates, each one owning their own business in
a substantial, exclusive territory.

WHAT IS BUSINESS
TRANSFER?
Business Transfer describes the winning of
clients’ instructions to market for sale a variety of
businesses and the work involved in pursuing a successful
negotiation, sale and completion.
The range of businesses may include both
leasehold and freehold concerns, such as hotels, restaurants,
retail businesses, light industrial units and professional
practises. Particular emphasis is placed on the care sector,
with valued links between GPS-Direct and leading
care providers enabling a unique selling point to be exploited with
prospective vendors.
A successful Franchisee must possess a flair for
sales and marketing, a determined and proactive approach and a good
understanding of business administration techniques and
processes.
THE FRANCHISE
OPPORTUNITY
GPS-Direct is offering an
exciting opportunity for a further limited number of Franchisees to
join the group and run their own successful
consultancy.
Each Franchisee is allocated a substantial,
exclusive territory containing a pre-determined number of
businesses. The split of business types will naturally be
influenced by the geographical location, but may be further driven
by the skills, experience and interests of the
Franchisee.
The Franchisee’s business is then marketed
nationally within the group’s existing media and locally by
the establishment of a ‘core of activity’, in which the
brand aims to become the ‘number one player’. A
range of marketing strategies is successfully adopted, both
traditional and web-based. The company’s own web
siteplays an essential role.
REWARDS
As in all businesses the potential rewards are
limited only by the abilities and endeavours of the
individual. However, the field of business transfer attracts
potentially high commissions and a substantial turnover.
Additional Income Streams may be derived from
referrals made to
- Overseas domestic property
- Overseas business sales
- Pro-Eco* product sales and services
- Commercial finance
The ultimate rewards are therefore generous, with
not only an income in excess of £100,000 attainable in the
second year of trading, but moreover the development of a valuable
business, which may itself be sold in later years.

during exploratory discussions.
FRANCHISE PACKAGE
Exclusive Territory - A formal licence
for the incoming GPS-Direct Franchisee will be
issued defining territory and granting permission for business
operations to be conducted under the GPS-Direct
brand. The package also includes an initial territory
launch.
Company Formation - A
limited company will be formed for the Franchisee’s operation
and full accounting procedures put in place.
Business and Marketing
Plans - Business and marketing plans will be drawn up
jointly, taking into account the geographical location of the
territory and the criteria of the Franchisee.
Training - Appropriate
training on all aspects of the skills required in operating a
successful business transfer consultancy practice. The
franchise fee includes enrolment to the ICBA Technical Award in
Commercial Property Agency.
GPS-Direct Website - The
Franchisee will benefit from inclusion in the
GPS-Direct website.
Computer with Templates /
Procedures - A PC or laptop computer, loaded with all
of the necessary templates and procedures for immediate business
operation, will be provided.
Stationery Templates -
The Franchise package includes the templates necessary for cost
effective stationery production.
Ongoing Support - The
consultant will benefit from ongoing training, company support and
business development consultancy.
THE COST
The Franchise fee of £14,750
includes:
- Exclusive territory licence and
launch.
- Company formation.
- Business and marketing plans.
- Full and comprehensive training.
- Bespoke Manual and Procedures.
- Management Accounting Package.
- Computer including appropriate
software.
- Printer/fax machine/scanner, etc.
- Stationery templates.
In addition to the Franchise fee, a 10% service
charge is made based on a Franchisee’s gross turnover.
This charge is levied on a quarterly basis and covers the cost of
group administration and support.
