Ambience franchisees provide a venue styling
service centered around the “dressing” of tables and
chairs for weddings and other special events. Ambience literally
transform the appearance of each venue with beautiful fabrics and
high quality linen. Each franchisee supplies chair covers
which are then finished off with sashes and bows to match the
brides colour scheme. Tables are similarly “dressed”
with table runners and centre pieces and Ambience also supplies
large “swags” of coordinating fabric for top tables and
cake tables to really add the wow factor! As an Ambience venue
stylist you’ll be a highly appreciated supplier to those
planning a special day and you can expect to earn a full time
income working part time hours.

Owning a franchise is about being
in business for yourself but not by yourself, and we'll support you
every step of the way as you establish your own business by
exclusively handling our business in your own exclusive
area.
You'll need to be determined and
able to deal with people from all walks of life and also be
prepared to work some weekends (usually Saturday mornings only) as
and when necessary.
How you ambience franchise
works

Ambience follows a carefully
crafted marketing programme, proven to be successful at generating
enquiries from people planning a wedding or special event. Once
your business is underway, you can expect to have a cash generative
business up and running within the first two months, and because
every client pays in advance there is no bad debt. Working from
home in flexible hours and using a normal family car you will be
able to easily balance the work life mix.
The day before each event, or on
the day itself you set up the room with whatever the client has
ordered, this is done by you and one other, or a couple of casual
members of staff, either way it is done in privacy as you will have
left the venue before your clients arrive! A typical booking
requires two hours to set up because every cover is steam pressed
on site to leave everything looking perfect. Once the wedding is
over you simply call to collect the stock, which has nearly always
been packed up
by the venue, and is therefore a quick and easy job. The booking is
complete once the covers have been washed by a local launderette or
yourself in readiness for the next event.
Your earning
potential:
Your franchise can easily be run
on a part time or a full time basis depending on the level of
marketing carried out and your personal income aspirations.
However, the business is capable of earning a full time salary even
when operated part time!
Our franchise fee is only
£8495 and your total investment depends entirely on
how many hours you want to work and the level of marketing you
carry out.Ambience is
also one of the lowest cost franchises to run on an on going basis
as you can work from home using a normal family car and a very low
management services fee of only £275 per month, which includes
a contribution to the national public relations, advertising, and
marketing campaign. Ambience also has exhibition displays that you
can use and professionally designed marketing leaflets that you can
easily customise yourself. Ambience will provide you with your own
personalised admin, including letterheads, business cards,hire
contracts, a web page and email account and also use of a free
phone number.
Our experience has taught us that,
even on a low marketing budget, it is possible to yield around 4 -
8 weddings per month and this is easy to achieve on a part time
basis. You should be able to get to this point within your first 10
weeks of trading. Our test area received 50 bookings within the
first 5 months of launching the business from a standing start
which is the equivalent to £41,000 p.a!
Training
and support:
Starting a new business can appear to be a daunting
task at first but we have already taken that step ourselves so we
are fully aware of the journey you are about to embark upon. There
is no one better than us to assist you to replicate our business in
your own area due to Debbie’s practical experience combined
with Andy’s 16 years in the franchise industry. It is
actually making the decision to make the step into self employment
that is the hardest part.
By joining Ambience you will not
be on your own, we will train you on the job, not in the classroom,
and we will support you with your launch programme, marketing
campaign, and guide and mentor you until you are on your
feet.
To get going you’ll only
need a small amount of stock in the most popular sizes. You will
not therefore need to make a large financial investment in stock,
(as we did) because you will have access to our own central stock
comprising thousands of covers, colours, and sashes until your
business is fully underway. When that time comes,
you’ll decide what stock levels are relevant to the way you
intend to run the business and you can deal directly with our
suppliers enjoying attractive terms and assured
quality.
