About you
You’ll be delivering boxes of the very best organic fruit and vegetables around, fresh from the farm direct to your customers’ kitchens. You’ll be far from just a delivery driver though. Try MD, Driver, Marketing Manager, Accountant, PA and Customer Services…that’s more like it, after all you’ll be responsible for everything from building your business to running it. So you’ll really need to know your onions (although we’ve also got the Riverford Academy in the North West if you’ve got the drive but not the experience). You’ll need to be willing to live, breathe, sleep and eat the veg too, passing on your passion to your customers and growing a business you can really call your own. Like our fruit and veg it’s a tasty proposition, but it takes just as much hard work (expect early starts, late finishes and plenty of lifting and shifting of heavy loads) to produce the best results. |

What do you need?
To become a full franchisee for a new territory you’ll need £9,000 (+van, office equipment and some working capital) and we’ll be looking for a 20% deposit to secure your patch. The cost to buy an existing territory will be dependent on it’s size and valuation. You’ll also need to live in (or be willing to relocate to) your chosen territory and you must have a fully equipped home office with a computer and broadband access. Working capital for your first few months of trading and finance for your delivery van are also essential. A few tasty recipes wouldn’t do any harm either.

A management service fee is charged at 3% of your sales and includes:

Profit potential
The more energy and effort you put in, the more potential profit you’ll get out. Work hard and you could have an annual turnover of £350,000 within three years. One of our franchisees reached a turnover of £3,600 per week, delivering to over 340 customers, in just five months! Profits can obviously be grown by adding new customers and increasing their average spend. Some of our top performing franchisees now gross over £600 per delivery round.
