Is there training?
Training is focused around creating and surpassing the expectations of each and every one of our guests.  This starts from day 1 of our extensive three week training program and continues through to the Grand Opening of your new Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa.  During training we also focus on business management skills, marketing, membership sales, staffing, administration and basic accounting.  We do not teach anyone how to be a Registered Massage Therapist nor will you be performing massages yourself.  Creating the ultimate massage spa experience for our customers is our aim.  

What else does the corporate office provide?
Our experienced professionals will guide and assist you with location selection, spa planning and design, recruitment hiring and training of support staff and Registered Massage Therapists.
 
We also provide ongoing operational training and support, operation manuals, state-of-the-art user friendly software with in-house support, regular visits and open access to head office and support staff.
 
A marketing tool kit and use of the Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa name and brand are included. Franchisees make
use of the Hand & Stone corporate website promotion and spa location landing page, on-line promotions and marketing materials.

What are the Royalties?
Royalties are 6% of gross sales paid by electronic transfer on a weekly basis.

Is there a Marketing Fee?
Franchisees contribute 4% of gross sales towards the marketing fund and local spa marketing.
