Front End Features

User are able to view the homepage with the links to other pages of the website.

Homepage would allow the users to login to the site or register with the site.

Users are able to register with the site by entering the following details:

Title, First name, Last name, Email address, Retype email address, Password, Confirm password

Registered users are able to change their password, email address from my account section.

User are able to view their purchase history from the "my account” section.

Users are able to add addresses to their address book in 'in 'my account'.

User are able to search for products by product name, product id and keyword. Plus have option to narrow down search results by category, brand and price.

User are able to view the products based on their search result.

User on clicking a particular product are taken to the detailed product page.

User can view the product description, images, price from the detailed product page.

User can view the images of the product by zooming in and out.

User have an option to purchase by clicking the add to bag button.

Users would be able to view their cart, edit product quantity, delete items from their cart and can checkout to the payment page.

Users can register and pay or have the option to pay without registering, using the one page check-out.

Users are able to view cart via basket Pop-up ( located at top right hand corner): Picture, Description, Price, Quantity, Basket Total, View basket, Checkout.

On clicking the checkout button the recommendation engine would display other products previously sold with this product, for up selling. This is a list of items that have actually previously been purchased with this product and stored in memory.

User are able to view the recently viewed products items at the bottom of the page. Delete these items. This list is retained in cookies for when user returns to the site.

User is able to enter their billing and shipping address, calculate the shipping charge according to the item quantity and weight. If a returning customer then address field is pre-populated using customers default delivery address. Option to change the delivery address available.

Price calculation provides the user with the consolidated cost of the items with the shipping cost.

Users can purchase the product by paying online. Payment merchant needs to be integrated.

User would be able to view the postal options as defined by the admin.

Website has site map displaying the links of all the website pages.

User would have an option to print A4 size invoices for dispatching

User would be able to enter the discount voucher to get discounts at the time of checkout.

Users would be able to rate and post comments on the products and would be displayed on the website on admin approval.


Admin Section Features (Content Management System)

The admin section is accessed using a unique user name and password that would be hidden from normal users and is 100% browser driven.

Admin is able to generate sales and product statistics reports by hour, day, week, month and year. Graph form.

Admin is able to generate reports most viewed items list, best sellers list, and search phrases.

Admin is able to manage Order Status. Pending, dispatched, payment, pending, delivered, order cancelled, partial refund.

Admin can print invoice for orders.

Admin is able to manage the content of the static pages.

Admin is able to manage the reviews and comments from users. Edit, view, delete, publish.

Admin is able to manage the categories and sub categories.

Admin is able to manage the banner ads and have navigate to URL option.

Admin is able to manage the stock. Add, edit, delete, product weight, brand, price, sale price, quantity, category, sub-category, brand, image and description.

Admin is able to manage Brands.

Admin is able to manage the postal charges. Postal options: Free shipping, Free shipping above specified amount. Specify From and To dates for shipping options.

Admin is able store subscribed users email for export to a 3rd party mailer.
