This well regarded and respected independent manufacturer of uPVC and Aluminium Windows, Doors and Conservatories has been successfully trading since 2000, and is still growing year on year. After starting a retail business supplying and installing windows, doors and conservatories in 1980, and buying in units from a range of suppliers, the vendor of the business decided to start a manufacturing operation with his partner, and bring all the work in-house. The business is proud to produce top-end aluminium units in-house, and has the rights to produce and distribute one of the finest ranges in the UK on behalf of a well respected German manufacturer. This brand and top of the range bi-folding aluminium doors are finding many new customers and wide interest in the market.

Due to the quality of the workmanship, and welding units utilised by the company, they can compete at the top end of the market, whilst also supplying more cost effective products for the price conscious end user.

Equipment:

In the factory unit, the business uses the highest quality, computer controlled “Elumatec” machinery. Including 2 saws, a large bed saw and angle welding machines. These machines can all take designs straight from computer drawings when required, for fast turnaround on production orders. In the office, there are a number of office P.C.’s and a main server which holds all financial accounts on SAGE and the customer database. The trade counter has a cash register and can accept credit card payments.

In the factory there is a full-time Foreman, full-time Charge Hand, and 6 full-time Fabricators. The Fabricators have been on company courses in Germany and Belgium to gain certifications. In the office, the company employs a full-time Office Manager, and 2 part-time Office Assistants.
