The business, which was founded by our client over 14 years ago, is only now being reluctantly offered for sale, as he wishes to retire abroad.

The business has three service levels:
Level 1 is a same day courier delivery throughout the UK.
Level 2 is for non-urgent items, which is normally a delivery within 48 or 72 hours.
Level 3 offers a delivery service to Europe and Ireland and can carry anything from a single envelope to a pallet up to a maximum load of 900 kilos

Larger loads can be accommodated but are normally sub-contracted.

Our client has an excellent local reputation for service and reliability with most new customers coming from ‘word of mouth’ referrals from existing satisfied clients.

Most clients with whom our client trades on a regular basis are situated within an approximate 30 mile radius of our client’s home in Berkshire, with most jobs charged at an agreed cost prior to delivery.

The business deliveries are made using a Vauxhall Movano short wheel base van which has an ‘03’ plate. Sales in the year to March 2010 were £32,016 and as overheads are kept low the business achieves a satisfactory net profit.

The vendor works alone in the business, receiving part-time help from his wife in relation to completing paperwork.
