Is it located on a highly traveled road for tourist and locals alike. Jim Thorpe has become one of the top tourist destinations in Pennsylvania. We are located on Route 209 a mile outside of downtown Jim Thorpe. Most travelers to Jim Thorpe or the surrounding areas have to to travel past our restaurant before they reach their destinations. Pennyslvania Department of Transportation just completed a road study that shows around 25,000 cars pass the business on a daily basis. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. We pride ourselves in Traditional American Cuisine or Good Old Fashioned Comfort Food. The Restaurant has a multitude of parking for our patrons. Which is a huge issue for business owners in Jim Thorpe because of the lack of on street parking and mostly metered parking. We have a full liquor license. We also have a fully furnished outside covered patio . On top of the business is a newly redone apartment with wood floors, stainless steal kitchen. The apartment is 2 bedrooms, one bath, living room and kitchen. We also have a fully powered garage with running water and electric. Our idea was to put another business in the back, whether it was selling 6 packs of beer to go or an ice cream stand. We have our own septic system and also well water. Taxes are extremely reasonable. I believe right around $5,000 a year. It is an ideal setup for an owner/ operator who can live right above the business to save time and money commuting to another residence. The business is doing right around $10,000 a week in sales and growing. I would not be opposed to holding financing on the property if it can be worked out.

- Expansion potential: We also own 2.5 acres of land on the other side of route 209. The land is on a downgrade slope and therefore cannot be developed however extra revenue could be generated through installing and renting a commercial billboard to potential advertisers/consumers. Estimated monthly revenue between $1000-$2000 is my guess. Right now there is no billboard but an old route 66 themed sign for the restaurant that i was planning to refurbish.
- Competition / Market:There is no real breakfast competition in town. Most tourists that stay in Jim Thorpe patronize our business for breakfast. Also lunch and dinner.
