Our organic wholesale nursery is a small family run operation. The season runs from mid February to mid September. We provide bedding plants, herbs and vegetable starts to local retail nurseries. The operation is entirely organic. It is run by one person with one and a half seasonal employees. There are many opportunities to expand the business, by going retail or moving into near by markets. We have chosen to maintain its current size to keep our hands in the plants and preserve a quiet lifestyle.

We are set on seven acres of a pastoral valley in Southwest Colorado. Our home is also situated on the property. It is a beautifully hand crafted, passive solar straw bale home with clay plasters, timber frame detailing, rap around porches, stone tile throughout and more extras than I can relate here. The house is tucked away from the nursery so as to maintain a healthy space between work and home.Around and between the two we have started a small orchard and about 2000 sq ft of vegetable and perennial flower gardens with well over fifty fruiting bushes and trees.

The nursery gardens and trees are all well organized with irrigation, which is drawn off of a large pond fed by irrigation shares.The pond doubles as a fun retreat on a hot summer day.

From our home we have access to forest service land where we hike, bike and cross country ski. It is a short drive to one of the largest designated wilderness areas in the country. Skiing abounds in the winter with two premier resorts close by. The canyons and rivers of southeast Utah are a stone throw away.
