Vinomania - Wine Shop Franchise

 

 

 

Vinomania is a French concept, combining a wine bar and wine shop, specialising in quality boxed wine.

Vinomania features quality wines from Châteaux and Domaines, packaged in three litre bags in boxes. Inside the bag in box, the flavours of wine are perfectly retained for several months after opening.

Vinomania's wine range is unique in terms of quality and originality. Among more than 700 vineyard estates, we have carefully selected about 50 wines. Our wines are 'estate bag-in-boxed', most of them are labelled 'Controlled Appellation of Origin', a guarantee of quality and authenticity. We manage the complete production and selling chain, from the vintner to the consumer.

Our product is placed on a high potential market. In France, the bag in box wine represented 2% of the wine sales in 2000, today it represents 25%. In the UK, the bag in box currently accounts for a third of wine sales, which is two or three times less than other Nordic markets (e.g. 50% in Sweden), the growth potential is therefore interesting.

 


 

THE CONCEPT :

In lounge-style décor, our customers can taste up to 50 different wines, served with traditional French charcuterie (cold meats), French cheese, foie gras, etc.

While the customers enjoy the cozy and welcoming atmosphere, our staff are there to guide them through the wine tasting and help them select the best wine and food match.

On a regular basis, we organise wine and food tastings and oenology lessons with our professional sommeliers, where both beginners and connoisseurs are welcome. Vinomania aim to bring wine education to a human level.

A restaurant menu is also available. It is composed of simple and easy-to-prepare French traditional dishes.

Our wines are also available for retail sale by the bag in box.

Having experience of over 17 years in the field of franchising, we provide our partners with a complete training programme at our head office and on-site. Support is provided before and after the opening.

We are currently looking for Regional Master Partners to set up a pilot and sub-franchise the concept through the territory.
