Snack in the Box provides a free of charge vending service to workplaces with between 5 and 100 staff. We are the UK’s no 1 vending franchise and now supply over 30,000 workplaces with a vending solution. We offer a selection of vending solutions to ensure that we have the correct option for the workplace in question – including snack boxes, vending machines, drinks chillers and hot drinks machines.  We are partnered with Mars, which enables us to not only use the Mars branding, but also offer the UK’s favourite confectionery brands to customers. 
 
Snack in the Box has been a full member of the British Franchise Association (BFA) for 17 years. Our long-standing expertise in franchising is combined with our vending knowledge gained from the fact that we are part of SnackTime plc, the UK’s 3rd largest vending company. SnackTime’s partnership with Mars confectionery means that we can also offer favourable supplier prices and other support to our franchisees.

 
Flexible Franchise Packages
 
We offer flexible ‘mix-and-match’ packages to suit your desired level of investment and your required income. Within your package you will have a range of vending machine types including snack boxes, vending machines, drinks chillers and hot drinks machines. The exact number of machines and types will depend on your level of investment and your individual territory’s customer profiles. Packages are available from a minimum of £20K.
 
Training and Support
 
One to one training takes place over several days for all new franchisees. This includes in-house training for business planning, IT, accounting, and customer management, as well as field training with both our engineers and other franchisees. Our Franchise Managers offer on-going business support and we also offer ad hoc training days on specific aspects of running your own business.

 

Franchisee Profile

Franchisees need to be self-motivated, able to manage their time, customer-focussed and available Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm to service their customers. The business is easy to manage and the franchisee is based from home. You will require a full UK driving licence. We find that experience of being in a field based role, delivery or sales role often helps too.
