Concept: Mikit has grown rapidly in a
fast-changing market without losing its friendly working
environment. Running a Mikit franchise is lucrative and varied,
incorporating technical, trade-specific, financial and legal
aspects. There is no comparable competition thanks to an original
marketing plan. Profit margins are stable and at least 50% of
turnover is generated through repeat business.
Return on investment: A personal investment of around €100,000 (£70,000) to €120,000 (£85,000) is required. You are likely to see a return on investment within two years.
Franchisee requirements: Someone with
business acumen and the managerial skills to lead a team of four to
six employees. You will essentially be a manager, an executive, a
CEO, a sales manager, a profit centre manager, a department
manager, etc, all in one. No technical skills are required as
initial and ongoing training is provided.
Advantages: The franchisor has more than 20 years of experience. The break-even point for revenues is very low. The network provides ongoing training without any additional cost. In 2002 Mikit was deemed the fourth most profitable company in France in the monthly newspaper l’Entreprise.
Product/service: House construction.
Investment: €50,000
(£35,000) to €60,000 (£42,000)
