- Location:
- The business is located on a through main road in the very upmarket town of Henley on Thames. It is a compact town situated on the edge of the Chiltern Hills and the banks of the river Thames. It has a population on approximately 10,000 and supports the many small attractive villages in the surrounding countryside.
The town is best known for the annual Royal Regatta, which attracts some of the world’s finest rowers to the town. Other annual events include the festival of music and arts and the food festival. There are also a number of complimentary events which when in progress, the town centre is blocked off and it is almost shoulder to shoulder throughout the area.
Nearby towns include High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Reading, which are all approached by either the A404 (M) or the M40, which also feeds directly into London.
Other information
- Expansion potential:
- There is excellent potential as it has been intimated by the landlord that no objections would be raised to extend the selling space into the rear storeroom.
With the shop being on route to the very nearby railway station, another possible alternative would be to offer take away sandwiches, hot rolls, tea and coffee etc.
