While the flagship centre is doing excellent business as outlined above, the key value in this business is the ability to sub-franchise new centres, and collect 70% of the one-time franchise fee as well as 70% of the ongoing monthly royalties (the remaining 30% to be shared with the global HQ).
Further, any buyer of this business will obtain a ready list of about 120 franchisee inquiries. Out of this list, ongoing discussions are at an advanced stage with 6 potential franchisees, and a further 12 franchisees have been identified as being serious inquiries.
We expect that about 5 new franchise centres should be opened by March 2011, and about 15 centres in total by December 2011. We estimate total potential for the territory of Singapore to be approximately 35-40 centres.

Competition / Market:

There is a standard range of education services operating in Singapore, and also within the locality. However, specific competition for our specialized Maths enrichment programme is limited due to the unique nature of the programme design and methodology. Further, the continued strong growth of the business (we currently have a waiting list equal to about 15% of our total enrollment!) is clear proof that there is ample demand to satisfy all available education services being offered in the locality as well as Singapore as a whole.

The is the Master Franchise for the Republic of Singapore. A Transfer Fee of US$15,000- is payable to Global HQ for the take-on of a Master Franchise by a new franchisee. Ongoing Royalties of 12% of Revenues are payable on the revenues of the Main Centre. Further, 30% of One-time Franchise Fees as well as 30% of Royalties collected from Sub-franchisee centres, are payable to Global HQ as their share.
