The outside catering is only 10% and there is a whole lot more to get. We have not put energy into this due to current circumstances. Converting some shop floor space for consuming on the premises. This would increase sales in the colder months. Opening times expansion for early morning trade and Saturday/Sunday trading.

Competition / Market:

There are four main competitors. Sainsbury's, Peli Deli, Frankies and Tiggie Winkles. The supermarket poses a threat if customers decided to switch to "plastic sandwich". Peli deli offers bagles and upmarket food that the youngters go for but is relatively new business (1 year). Frankies offer sit in but is seen as a bar rather than a good food outlet. Tiggie winkles would only be a threat if they moved into larger premises with more staff and kept their prices the same. None of these offer outside catering services. The only other outside catering business is Espresso in Darley Dale. They do share some of our trade / customers.
