Since most of the Western states are located in seismic country, the Company is sensitive to proper seismic design for all of their structures. Both owners were pioneers in the intermountain area in utilizing computer programs such as ETABS, SAP IV and STRUDL to analyze and design structures to resist earthquake forces and will continue in the future to use and develop the most appropriate design aids.

Value engineering is an important part of this firm’s design philosophy. The Company is certified in Value Engineering and works closely with the architect/owner during all phases of a project to maximize the value and keep the structural costs within budget.

Their experience includes many commercial and industrial projects in Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho, California, Washington, Minnesota, and Texas. The Company prides itself as being a solid and innovative structural engineering firm.

The Company is owned by two Structural Engineers. The staff consists of eight professionals, including a Doctor, Masters of Engineering and professional engineers. There is also ICBO certified Special Masonry Inspectors and ACI certified Concrete Inspectors on staff.
