We have built here in Langkawi – a resort island in the north of Malaysia – a high ropes course in the jungle, called The Canopy Tour/Adventure Fun Park.
Since I’m slowly getting older, less agile and all those small, small pains here and there, we intend to sell the whole system ad business for a price of Euro 140.000/RM 680.000.(Revenue details will be made available to interested parties upon request.)
The purchase of the business includes the lease of the jungle area, where the course has been built, all contracts with the hotels and travel agencies, all bookings with internat. schools -confirmed 10 for 2009!!!- and up to two work permits (one owner/one expat staff) for Malaysia.
All in all: the system and business is ready to operate immediately after take over.
Our system and tour program won the ‘Best Adventure Tour Program Award 2003/2004’ bestowed on us by the Ministery of Arts Culture and Tourism, has been featured in various travel, sports and TV magazines, the latest going to be a feature on the "Rough Guide" with Toby Amies end of 2008.
The best recommendation to operate this business is for a young couple – only two - rsp. one for selected itinaries- persons are required to operate the tour- , as this will cut the ROI down to below/approx. two years, which makes it a very good investment scheme.
Pls note: as of now, 1.July. 2008 we've finished the process of upgrading the whole system in order to be able to accomodate up to 120 people in one day. Update as of 1.July 2008: we have added a new mixed bridge at a a length of approx. 40m, a new flying fox incl. of treeclimb, a set of 'monkey climbing holds'- the first here in South East Asia- and abseil passages and a spider net for climbing. The updated selling price as of status today -1.Nov.2008-is RM 680.000, since we also are selling the kayak, cave and mangrove operations. Assets: 15 sit-on-top kayaks.
