The Original Poster Company was founded in 1991 to develop a franchised distribution network supplying greeting cards. Our distinctive range of cards are supplied to retail customers by the franchisees on a consignment basis, so that the retailer only pays for the cards that have been sold.

By 1993 the entire UK, as well as Ireland had been franchised at which time the Company looked overseas to further its growth, and is now the world's largest franchised distributor of greeting cards.

Our consignment system (sale or return) and excellent products allow our franchisees to secure numerous profitable accounts, in addition to those purchased with the franchise.

Our proven franchise system ensures that the franchisee receives an income from the first month, as well as securing an ongoing relationship with a large number of independent retailers.

OPC currently supply over 9,000 retail customers in the UK and Ireland through 71 franchisees each operating their own exclusive area.

The franchise can be operated from your own home, with low overheads and a medium size family car.
