Expansion potential:

There are endless opportunities to expand, the sky is the limit. Staffing would be the only restriction, more staff would be needed if the company was expanded. We have kept the company small as we have a young family and enjoy family life here by the beach. Point Breaks can easily be expanded, but we choose to work two busy days per week. This is a lifestyle choice and therefore business can be greatly increased if desired.

Competition / Market:

We are the only Surf, Ski and Wake board school in the south west. There are other surf schools around, but we were the first (since 1986) and we have the reputation of experience. Also activity insurance no problem due to our excellent no claims record on all of our water sports which is not available to new companies wishing to start up. This gives Point Breaks a protected market in some of our activities.
