The carwash uses state-of-the-art technology to recycle about 80% of its water and runs on "green" energy supplied by Ergon.
The recycling system is the latest in US design using reverse osmosis techniques. Active oxygen in the water also kills bacteria. The recycling technique is pretty simple, using a tank settling system with clean filtered rececled water being drawn upon again after every wash.
The facility features four self serve bays and one touch laser wash, which is the second system to be installed in Australia. Two self serve bays are large enough for boats and caravans with raised walkways for ease of use and boat engine flush facilities in each.
Additional facilities include interior cleaning equipment such as car mat washers, five vacuuming areas with fragrances and spot removers plus a full detailing service. The top end wash takes four and a half minutes compared to six at other washes, so there is less waiting time, capturing more customers.
Vending machines and ice machines are also included.
Open 24 hours, the business has a number of security features to ensure the safety of patrons and a system of safes to combat theft.
Access and visibility are superb; ground surfaces are concrete and the buildings are attractive and colourful.
The location is one of the most beautiful coastal cities in Central Queensland.
