LOCATION: Ness City, Kansas, with an approximate population of 1,600 at an elevation of about 2,251 feet, is located on busy U.S. Hwy 283 [north/south] and Kansas Principal Hwy 96 [east/west].

The seat of Ness County has a population of approximately 3,500 and is located in the heart of America’s ‘bread-basket.’ The fertile agricultural environment of farming and ranching, as well as the increasing oil & natural gas exploration/production are the dominant part of the local economy and offer an exciting and profitable business potential. It would be advisable for a new owner to outfit the motel with wireless Internet service and 4-small billboards at each feeder-road entrance into town. A website will give competition to the only other motel in town, which offers neither.
