This franchise was created in July 2005. The program was developed and a pilot trial was conducted for a six month period in five schools. The official program was launched in January 2006 and is now currently available in over 70 schools. By June 2008 over 3000 children have taken part in the program. The Franchisor uses Djembe drumming and each session incorporates the use of storytelling singing drumming games and pre-recorded songs on cd. The franchisor is originally from London where he enjoyed over 20 years of international experience as well as being an award winning music producer sound engineer and professional drummer. He also recorded and performed in multiple bands functions and productions. Among other things he also trained in the UK at the Institute of Music Technology and Drumtech
