As you enter this popular Lodge & Backpackers you get a sense of seclusion yet you are within just a short stroll to the heart of the Wanaka town centre with all odf it's Restaurants, Cafe's and Bar's.

The common areas provide a cosy and comfortable feel with a relaxing atmosphere where guests can interact and make new aquantancies. The communal kitchen and dining areas come fully equipped with pots, pans utensils, cutlery, crockery and glassware. There are two separate outdoor areas with gas operated bbq's and plenty of space to lay back and soak up the suns rays. A guest laundry is also available.

The Lodge is a two storeyed building and consists of 8 guest rooms. Six of which have a double bed and a set of bunks, one with two sets of bunks and one with a double bed. All rooms feature an ensuite, television and refrigerator (mini). On the lower level there is a well appointed kitchen and dining area and on the second floor there is a warm comfortable lounge that offers views over the beautiful Lake Wanaka.

The Backpackers features6 rooms including a 5 bed dorm, a 7 bed dorm, a triple bed dorm, a twin bed room, and a double bed room plus there is a separate hut with a double bed. There is a combined kitchen, dining and lounge area complete with a gas operated fire which provides a warm and cosy atmosphere. Shared bathroom and toilet facilities.

The on-site owners/managers accommodation comprises a two bedroom flat with a kitchen/lounge. The bathroom features a shower over a bath and there is a laundry.

Wanaka is a popular all year round destination but is particularly busy over winter when skiers and boarders from all around the world converge on the area.
