The Machine Tool Factory is one of the oldest engineering enterprises in Bulgaria specialized in the manufacture, repair and trade of machine tools / drills, lathes, machining centers, milling machines /, production and marketing of spare parts for machine tools, representation and trade with machine tools from other countries, servicing and maintenance of machines.
With the gained experience over the years, the built prestige and credibility among the customers and highly qualified staff, the company is a leader in the industry.
The output of Machine Tool Factory is predominantly export oriented, and since 1996 the trends have been maintained. Over 50% of the exports is for Europe (Germany). A significant role to stabilize the export in the European market has played the fact that the manufactured machines meet the requirements of the European standards acc. Directive 89/392 CEE of the European Union as well as the certification of the plant in 1997 as ISO 9001.
The technology, quality and rhythm of work in the enterprise were significantly improved and a complete renovation of the outdated products has been implemented.
Together with the laboratory in the industry of the Technical University of Sofia a family of lathes "Fine Master" has been developed, which meet the needs of a series of smaller machines.
The whole range of drilling machines - light, medium and heavy - were equipped with many extras.
The acquired by the company "Delteko" - Spain fast moving drill radio RS-32-800 was absorbed in the manufacturing process. RS32-800 is the only drilling machine with such a design, produced in Bulgaria. The machine won a gold medal at the Plovdiv Fair in 1998.
For automated processing of parts with different configuration and complexity the company developed RV601 machining center, equipped with 24 tool shop system and CNC.
A vertical machining center was modernized and is again in regular production with a new PB 501 electromechanical instrument shop and modern CNC.
Together with the German company "GDW" two types of precision lathes were mastered - LZ 280 - and 300 CS with cyclical management.

The company participates in the development of operational projects under EU programs. Together with the Laboratory of the Technical University – Sofia an exploratory project "Technology and high speed milling machines - / HSM - High speed milling /has been developed and implemented. Together with the University of Aachen - Germany the company participates in the project "Open Automated System for Management of material resources”.
