In Uruguay there's a space for each leather industry, all of eaech one sells. Foreign Competition: not important, due to Uruguay is one of the main leather seller to the world. There's a lack of leather in the world, there is a huge demand so, all leather exporters have place. Yet China cannot be a threat for us, mainly in leather with wool, they don't have so they buy us.

The sales motive is that some of the shareholders want to sell due to they want to retire. They also consider that in order to continue being a profitable company they need capital to introduce new technologies and buy more leather , without so it's not possible to improve the company figures. Also, lack of interest of the sons to run the business make that their fathers want to retire.
