Ice cream and slush retailer / wholesaler operating ice cream kiosks and wholesale sales, under their own Company logos.

The Company has sole rights for a number of products in the Balearic Islands.

The Company operated in Summer Season 2005, 5 ice cream kiosks under the Company logo and supplied approx 50 third party customers’ wholesale products.

The Company was formed in 1996 as a Soft Ice Cream (Mr Whippy style) Company operating kiosks selling directly to the public in a major tourist area in the North of the Island. In 1999 this part of the business was sold on a concession basis while the original Company retained the sale of the product range to the new owner (this concession contract is still in place). The Company was then expanded to the South and Eastern part of the Island. In 2002 the present owner acquired the business and expanded the product range concentrating on the sale of soft ice cream and related products to third parties, while continuing to operate ice cream kiosks. In 2004 the owner purchased a locally owned ice cream and slush producing Company, which was incorporated into the main Company at the end of financial year 2005. The combined companies have doubled the wholesale sales of the Company and increased the product range of items sold to third party businesses (wholesale).

Sales in 2006 are expected to be in excess of 200,000 Euros due to the incorporation of the ice cream / slush Company and with the increase in the wholesale product sales, which have been the Company’s largest area of growth.

Supplier discount prices and volume related discounts (up to 50% on certain items) negotiated in 2005, position the Company in a strong position for the future.

Operating Area is the Whole Island of Mallorca but can be expanded to the

other Balearic Islands.

The Company operates from a rented 200 sqm Warehouse located in a major industrial estate close to the main town of Palma with easy access to the major motorways. The warehouse has complete office facilities on a mezzanine floor, a cleaning / production area, workshop area and 24 meter high storage area. The warehouse has recently been equipped with water purification facilities and 9KW capacity of 380/220 power supply (rare in Mallorca).

All fixtures, fittings and assets to include the vehicles, one fixed kiosk (Frigo Kiosk) located permanently directly on the beach at a major South West resort, 7 Cold elite Soft Serve ice cream machines, 4 mobile lockable kiosks, 3 mobile carts, all supporting point of sale material (A-Boards, large cones, posters, sauce stands, etc), 3 – 120 Lt Pasteurising machines (for slush production), 40+ slush machines, warehouse materials, office equipment, work tools and machine spare parts, transportation boxes etc.

The Company owns a Mercedes Sprinter delivery van (Year 2001) and a smaller Seat Terra van.

Business transfer and start-up assistance:

The present owner will continue to live on the Island and will assist with transfer assistance and with introduction to all suppliers and customers.
