- La Bouyssiere de Blanc is set in a secluded valley in the Lacaune Mountains and lies within the Great Canyons natural park in the south of Aveyron. The property was formerly a farm. The buildings (incorporating the two gites) are located at an altitude of 735m and these benefit from panoramic views. La Bouyssiere is situated 6km from the village of Brusque and is accessed by a picturesque mountain road. The main property overlooks the medieval village of Blanc which is a popular spot for walkers.

- La Bouyssiere de Blanc has a gite d'etape, which is a fairly rare establishment. It is a stopping off place for hikers, bikers, riders etc. and is marked on the map as such. This is most attractive during the off season, when the gite's restaurant facilities offer B+B, half or full board. It is also rare as a group gite with its capacity of up to 21 people. It has approvals for child groups as well as adults, thus a market already exists for youth and handicapped associations. The gite can also cater for group meals of up to 40 people on a reservation basis (in the off season) and can host wedding caterers for summer wedding receptions on the grounds or in the adjoining hall, a stunning 200 year old barn. The capability to host large events, along with drinks/restaurant licences and appropriate parking space could be further exploited as there is little competition locally.
