Since this date our client has created a highly profitable, easily managed business involved in the design, installation, service and maintenance of Air Conditioning systems. With an Engineering staff of eight, a Sales staff of 2 and a Management and Administration staff of 2, the principal Directors, who reside in Cornwall, need only have the most minimal input. The company is both cash and asset rich and has consistently produced high margins. The company has in excess of 100 maintenance contracts throughout the South East and East Anglia, which range from a few hundred pounds to several thousand pounds. The highest value contract amounts to less than 7% of the total, thus are not dependent on any single customer. This also generates income far in excess of the maintenance values. Most contracts simply roll on each year, many of which date well over a decade. The majority of the company's income is generated from the installation of Air Conditioning systems. This may be anything from a single office to an entire building. Most years a six-figure contract is won and with the 'in-house' ability to design, install and commission, there is no requirement for outside assistance. Much of this business is repeat or recommendation.

Another source of out client's income is from the hiring of Air Conditioning, from their own hire fleet, with a significant foothold in many high profile television production companies.

All of the engineers have been with the company for many years (with the exception of the trainees), with the Senior Engineer in his early thirties, in what could be considered a young person's industry. All of the engineers are fully trained and qualified to carry out their relevant duties and all are CITB qualifies to handle refrigerant gases (which is now a legal requirement).

Our clients are approved installers for leading manufacturers such as Daikin, Fujitsu, and Mitsubishi. The customers are spread across a diverse client base from schools and colleges, offices and laboratories, shops and restaurants, builders and consultants, thus are not dependent on one sector for business.

Over the last eight years the turnover has remained stable, in the region of £1,200,000. Corporation tax has been paid every year, the company has never been overdrawn and has never had an operational loan.

The Cornwall based directors now wish to retire.
